Children · Bedwetting

Does your child experience bedwetting?

Bedwetting has many possible causes. In some children it occurs alongside snoring, mouth breathing or other signs of sleep-disordered breathing.

A breathing and sleep assessment considers the overall pattern; it does not assume that an airway concern is the cause of bedwetting.

Adolescents who suffer from bedwetting are frustrated and embarrassed

Parents with children who struggle with bedwetting know the impact goes far beyond wet sheets and disrupted sleep. Bedwetting carries psychological and social costs for your child — and causes stress, additional workload and emotional strain for parents.

The result can be a life of anxiety, frustration and struggle for both children and their parents.

We’re passionate about helping children & their families thrive

The full impact of adolescent bedwetting extends far beyond the child — parents feel it too. The stress of seeking a solution often leaves parents feeling defeated and frustrated, and can even strain the relationship with their child.

The inability to say “yes” to sleepovers can create social struggles as well. With these impacts and others, it’s not hard to see how devastating bedwetting can be to the whole family.
