Hi, I am Dr Mark Levi, Australian leader in Craniofacial Dental Sleep Medicine, and I help children to achieve optimal oral development with pre orthodontics.

Australian Leader in Pediatric Craniofacial Sleep Medicine

Have you been told your child is probably going to need braces?

Or "We'll just have to wait and see..."

The belief that we cannot do anything early on to correct dental issues old school thinking.

The truth is - We can do SO much!

We CAN and SHOULD intervene as early as possible with all of these typical and common dental issues seen in children...

...and with the growth of the jaw slowing around age 10, early is actually the perfect time to address these issues!

If unaddressed or band-aid fixed, the cascade effect goes a little something like this...

The palate is narrow, meaning the airway is narrow and this increases the chance of mouth breathing.

Mouth breathing can result in:

- sleep issues including sleep apnea

- changes in facial development

- snoring, teeth grinding, and night sweats

- behaviour and mood issues including ADD/ADHD

- issues with concentration and learning

- impaired sporting performance

- low energy levels

- greater risk of cavities

When the functions of the mouth and airway are improved, and health is managed holistically, a child's potential is unlocked!

At Dr Levi's, we provide medical solutions that are backed by science and research and trusted by more than 14,000 families.

Airway Comparison

Let's get medical

Only in the last 20 years has research established the connection between certain common childhood health issues and a single likely root cause – Sleep Disordered Breathing

Sleep Disordered Breathing can be the result of an obstructed airway caused by narrow dental arches and/or an underdeveloped jaw.

The symptoms associated with Sleep Disordered Breathing (SDB) can vary from one child to the next but even mild SDB, i.e. mouth breathing, crooked or crowded teeth, snoring etc. can point to serious underlying health issues and the need for treatment.

How does it work?

After years of research Professor David Singh DMD PhD DDSc, created the Vivos System 12 years ago which has taken the research and science from above and created biomimetic (meaning to mimic nature) oral appliances which have helped more than 14,000 patients in the USA.

The Vivos System consists of multi-disciplinary therapeutic protocols and oral appliances which increase and enhance the airway.

Dr Levi is working with children who struggle to breathe when they sleep by using this system of biomimetic appliances and therapies. These treatments promote natural growth and development to expand the dental arches and help the upper and lower jaws to grow. As these areas develop more fully, the child’s airway may widen and expand, allowing the child to breathe better and some of these symptoms may disappear. When children can breathe properly, they can grow, learn and blossom into their full potential.
